Description of the Campaign in France in 1814. Part II

This work was written after the emperor instructed Mikhailovsky-Danilevsky create a historical description of all the wars of the reign of Alexander I. The result was a number of fundamental military-historical works that brought the historian intravital fame. One of them was the "Description of the campaign in France in 1814". Trek 1814 ends with twenty-year war, which began with the French Revolution. He was the immediate cause of the world, which have been restored hereditary thrones, and political balance. In its work, the Mikhailovsky-Danilevsky described the curious and important circumstances of the three-month struggle, without which it is impossible to have a true idea of the campaign.
