Fifth, the penultimate volume of the Mishnah and Tosefta enclosing Kodashim department, deals with the sacrifices in the Temple of Jerusalem and the Temple. Only one volume of this treatise - Hullin - has no direct relationship to the victims or to the Temple: the premises of this treatise department Kodashim explained by the fact that the laws of slaughtering animals for ordinary use are natural supplement laws on the slaughter of sacrificial animals. These laws slaughter as attached to them in a treatise dietary laws, strictly speaking, they could not be confined to any of the other divisions of the Mishnah.
