This publication consists of two sections. In the first chapter the most typical reprinted Big Academic Dictionary of 1812, as well as an article by the director of Mykolayiv Main Physical Observatory Academician M. Rykachova "Cold 1812" compiled specifically for this volume of the Proceedings of the Moscow department of the Imperial Russian military-historical society. The second section is the first part of the "Battle calendar-diary" and contains a full and detailed list of all clashes from 4 June to 31 August 1812 inclusive, with the armies of Napoleon. "Battle Calendar" is a reference by which you can quickly and accurately determine: 1. Month, date, day and time of day if possible, when there was not just any major battle in 1812, but every encounter with the enemy, not excluding and collision trips and patrols or patrols. 2. The geographical point at which there was a battle or military clash. 3. military units that participated in the battle, or clashes. 4. Their losses. 5. Special extraordinary feats ranks of those parts. 6. Progress or the facts of the battle or combat engagement. 7. The final results of the battle or combat engagement. "Fighting calendar" made exclusively for original documents epoch 1812. To facilitate the use of "fighting the calendar" to him accompanied alphabetical indexes: a) the nominal b) military units, offices and agencies, and c) the geographical, g) civil administration and civilian officials, as well as a special list of the number of military units mentioned in the text calendar.
