Precious Stones, Their Names and Properties in the Concepts of Armenians in the XVII Century

This book presents three articles which are treated information about gemstones and their properties. The first of these papers was written by a priest, a connoisseur and lover of stones, a competent person, as the author says, and who knew but his Armenian another 5 languages - Arabic, Turkish, Frankish, Greek and Hebrew. He lived in Aleppo, known jewelry business and, at the invitation of Arakel, wrote a short article. The second article - the manuscript of an unknown author, was in the hands Arakel. In the end, the third - a passage of the precious stones from some medical book. In all three articles describe not only physical, but more and mainly medical and wonderful properties of gemstones. Intrigued by their content, I decided to make them the subject of a short article, which offers readers.
