Essays on Historical Morphology of Russian Language XVII - XVIII Centuries

The book explores the historical problems of morphology on the material of Russian written sources of XVII-XVIII centuries. It analyzed a number of phenomena of nominal and verbal inflections in their dynamics. Particular attention is paid to the differences in the USUS, characterized by different traditions (registers) of written language. Analysis of statistical parameters allows trace continuity in the registers of the evolution and see specifics processes accompanying the formation locale (standard language). Morphological processes in the formation of a locale are also considered in detail, including the history of their codification and their dynamics in language practice, and historical and cultural stimuli of development. The book is of interest to historians of the Russian language and Russian culture historians, as well as for specialists in the field of general linguistics and language typology.
