IX-XIV volumes of a new series of the Complete Collection of Russian Chronicles reprinted Nikon Chronicle - the largest monument of Russian chronicles of the XVI century. That gets its name from one of the lists later, in the XVII century belonged to Patriarch Nikon. Republication is preceded by a foreword by BM Kloss, containing a new description of the manuscripts and the latest bibliography, and is elected head of the monograph BM Kloss "Nikon arch and Russian annals of XVI-XVII centuries" (Nauka, Moscow, 1980), in which Nikon Chronicle described the manuscript, and it turns out their origin
