The publication is intended for family reading. The book includes selected stories by Anton Chekhov about children and childhood. While all of these works are united "child" theme, they are not "children" in the usual sense. But that's what makes the story of small heroes Chekhov particularly interesting for the maturing child who learns to understand himself and the adult that the child can help.
