The book is devoted to the processes taking place in the Russian language at the turn of XX-XXI centuries. It is a collection of essays, united thematically. The first part of the book - a foreign language essays on borrowing, their properties, their relations with the native Russian (or formerly borrowed) vocabulary, their "behavior" in the language of the description of the methods and forms of foreign words and technical terms in modern dictionaries. The second part contains articles on the literary norm - its nature, its relation, on the one hand, to systemic features of the language, but on the other - with uzusom, speech practice. The third part contains brief notes on words - about the history of their appearance in our language, especially their shape and values, areas of use, regulatory status. The book is intended for scholars, specialists in Russian philology, for the students of Philology faculties of universities, as well as for anyone interested in the current state of our language.
