...The role of Construction Management Professional to minimize wastage in the building construction projects found to be decisive in the thesis findings .In the final findings the extent of material wastage in building construction found to be 6.68% of the project cost which can be saved to minimize the project cost.The thesis ascertained that ,design ,procurement ,material handling ,operation residual and sub contracting types are sources to cause material wastage.
