Record of Hongyan Event is divided into the first and the second volume; the first volume selects the major events related to the War of Resistance and the history of the South Bureau, consisting of the four parts of "e;from Wuhan to Chongqing"e;, "e;before and after the three anti-communism climaxes"e;, "e;sacrifice for peace and democracy"e; and "e;Chongqing negotiations"e;. The second volume takes the main line of the struggle on the Cinder Cave and the concentration camp of White Residence under the Gele Mountain in Chongqing, divided into "e;events out of prison"e; and "e;struggle in prison"e;.
