Resistance of China : Chinese Anti-Japanese War that a Foreign Journalist Experienced

Bok av Fang Ming
During the Chinese Anti-Japanese War period, huge swathes of foreign journalists worked and lived in China. They were mainly tasked with gathering and reporting news from China to their own country, including sufferings of Chinese people, and true information about miserable situations such as Nanjing Massacre and Evacuation of Battle of Hunan-Guangxi in 1944. These journalists did a great deal of work in the propaganda of the War, disclosure of disgusting conducts of the enemies, report of battlefield situation, striving for the sympathy from world public opinions, and other aspects. From the perspective of these journalists, this book faithfully records what they saw and heard during the period as well as the relations and battles between nations and between significant figures in historical events, so as to reflect the complexity and arduousness of the Chinese anti-Japanese war on the other side. Meanwhile, it also pays tribute to those upright and honest journalists, who will never be forgotten by Chinese people.
