After the learning with the instruction of the previous 3 books, students have a basic understanding of the flexible, powerful and fluent movement of the fingers. This book will help students go over those skills learned, and in the meantime, add something new to practice so as to improve the ability of performance. In terms of rhythm, 6/8 rhythm, triplets featuring Waltz and the changes of the power of fingers and the syncopate are introduced. In terms of methods of performance, the staccato accomplished by wrist will be introduced to satisfy the need to produce the intermediate speed of the repeat of certain notes. Students will also learn the raise of hands to improve the fluent movement of hands in preparation for the later learning of playing across different scales.
