Model Curricula for Journalism Education - A Compendium of New Syllabi

Under the influence of the rapid development of the technology revolution and the global economy, the journalism education in the world is changing dramatically. And this change has brought new challenges to journalism education. In view of this phenomenon, the UNESCO launched a series of journalism education books, including the Chinese version of Media and Female Book Series: Model Curricula for Journalism Education - A Compendium of New Syllabi. The book put forward ten new curriculum syllabi of journalism education, including media sustainability, data journalism, cross-cultural journalism, community radio journalism, world news, science news (including bioethics), gender and news, humanitarian news, human trafficking reports, security and journalism industry. Through the ten new syllabi, this book tells readers that it has great reference significance for the global journalism education to train professional media talents and enable them to adapt to the fast changing new ideas of social, political, financial and technological development.
