A New Exploration of the Art of Contemporary Broadcasting and Hosting is a collection of theses by students from the Broadcasting and Hosting Major. The book is composed of three parts: rethinking on traditional media hosting phenomena, re-exploration on hosting occupation difficulties, and a new probe to web hosting, which carried out studies on many aspects such as occupational competence of host, their professional skills, and challenges and difficulties they face, and put forward some feasible and pertinent opinions. In particular, the book researched on the characteristics of TV programs and their host in South Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom, and put forward some characteristics that worth learning by China TV programs, which has important significance and enlightenment for the development of Chinese TV programs, new media programs and their hosts.
