Richard Mocket - Doctrina Et Politia Ecclesiae Anglicanae: An Anglican Summa. Facsimile, with Variants, of the Text of 1617

Warden Mocket's "Summa" of Anglican doctrine was condemned to be burnt (1617) by James I of England and VI of Scotland. It contains his text with variants of the virtually unknown manuscript of the warden's own treatise and the variants of the issues of 1616 and 1617. It also has his unique translation of the Jacobean "Book of Common Prayer" and works by Jewel and Nowell.
