Vigiliae Christianae, Supplements, Seek to See Him: Ascent and Vision Mysticism in the Gospel of Thomas

This study of the Gospel of Thomas dispels the belief that the Gospel originates from gnostic traditions, proposing and examining Jewish mystical and Hermetic origins instead. Following this analysis, the anthropogony and soteriology of the Gospel of Thomas are discussed.
