Inbreeding and Brood Stock Management (FAO Fisheries Technical Paper)

This manual, written for extension workers, aquaculturists, and those who work with natural resource management programmes, primarily deals with the problems caused by unwanted inbreeding in cultured fish populations and describes management techniques that can be used to prevent or minimize inbreeding.
