Development History of the New Territories after the War

The project was driven to carry out by Sir Michael Kadoorie with the purpose of establishing the archive of the historical documents for Kadoorie family's business in Hong Kong for 100 years. With this starting point, the project recorded the oral testimonies of all sectors of the society to increase the social and economic context for the archive. The live history and written records referred to each other or opened a new path to present the complicated and interesting layers of the history.
