This tome includes the two novellas which were awarded the first CCE Short Novel Prize 2011. Breves en el tiempo makes successfully parallels the main character work in digital animation and editing and his efforts to recover his past with the woman he loves with humor and a brisk lyrical prose. La paciencia de los insectos is a dense, elaborate exploration of dissociation and altered states of mind of a character stuck in a situation which he cannot seem to escape and that slowly destroys him.
